Since fall 2020 (in the context of COVID-19), the center has become an emergency shelter service for people experiencing homelessness, operating 24/7, 365 days a year. The premises were refurbished to accommodate beds and separators. The number of beds was adjusted according to public health guidelines. We now have 45 beds, 30 of which are reserved for Indigenous community members.
